There was a great turnout for tonight Atlanta Geek Dinner. I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the conversations that were to be had (technical, political and even some SharePoint).

Jean-Luc David (of Microsoft) has been kind enough to setup a Geek Dinner for me to attend on Tuesday night (December 18th) in Toronto, or more specifically in Mississauga near Square One. The name of the place is Jack Astor's and we will be getting started between 6 and 7pm. If you're in town and want come, just show up!
We are meeting tonight for a Geek Dinner in Atlanta. The address was correct but the name and link were wrong. We are meeting at Max Lager's American Grill & Brewery for dinner. The name and link were wrong but the address/phone #'s were right. Here's the right name/links:

After several months of craziness, I am re-starting the Atlanta Geek Dinner. Please join me on October 25th, 2007 (a Thursday night) for beer, eats and lots of gabs. This geek dinner will be in the Perimeter Center area. Please RSVP so I can get a good count for the dinner.
I think I gave too short notice and only received a single RSVP so I've decided to cancel the geek dinner. I'll reschedule it for next month.

At the Atlanta Geek Dinner this evening we got talking about a whole boatload of interesting topics. I promised that I would share a couple of interesting links. The first is to a blog called "OldNewThing" from a Microsoftie who explains why old school Windows stuff works the way it does. It's a must have every dev out there:
