Thanks for visiting my blog!

I’ve just published a new community site called “GeekDinners.com” to allow a central place for people to create new geek dinners, organize individual dinners, allow RSVP’s for the dinners as well as register for notification when a new GeekDinner night is happening.
Its a very 0.1 version right now and I have not implemented the “Host Your Own” facility yet. That should come before the end of the year. This site is meant to allow groups to organize their own Geek Dinners around the North America (US and Canada). If there are non-North American Geek Dinners that want to use the site, please contact me (via the Contact form on this site) to let me know. If there are enough of you, i’ll try to add the feature.
The site is currently built with a mix of Microsoft technologies including:
- Visual Studio 2008
- ASP.NET 3.5
- LINQ
- The Entity Framework (Beta 2)
- Virtual Earth SDK
For now, if you are in Atlanta, stop by and help me test it out by registering for notifications for my Geek Dinner as well as RSVP’ing for the new Geek Dinner to be held on January 24th, 2008!
I also want to thank Michael Earls for doing the design work on the logo.
Keep an eye here for when I announce the full release of the site.
